Are you passionate about computing and technology and expecting to receive a degree in a Mathematical or IT-related subject? Here at Opus we’ll work with you to build a successful career in a fast-growing and exciting business.

This 2 year programme, located at our Northampton office, will provide you with invaluable experience across various areas of IT. Structured around a programme of 3-6 month long rotations, this course will give you a firm grounding in the 3 main areas of Project Management, Application Development and Service Management.

As a member of our IT team, your responsibilities will include problem solving, involvement in changes to business systems, formulating the requirements for changes to new processes, systems or existing applications. As well as working with all departments to play a vital role in ensuring the smooth running of the entire company.

The benefits of working with Opus Energy are many and varied, and include a salary of £23,000-£25,000 with a guaranteed pay rise of £1,000 at the end of years 1 and 2. On top of this, you will receive a bonus of up to 10% of your salary, plus many flexible rewards and benefits including pension and private health insurance.


Risk Management

We’re looking for enthusiastic new graduates to join a supportive and fast-paced team of Analysts in either Oxford or Northampton. If you have a passion for energy, sustainability and renewable energy and are expected to receive a minimum 2:1 degree and have a Mathematics A-Level grade A, or similar, then the Opus Energy Graduate Analyst Programme may be the perfect fit for you.

The course takes 2 years which will be split into a series of 3 to 6 month rotations across various analytical and operational disciplines. You’ll be assigned a mentor who will support you with the development of your analytical skills, and regular training courses will furnish you with all the skills you need to grow into your full potential.

At the end of your programme, you’ll be encouraged to move into a specialist role of either a Senior Analyst, Team Leader or Management position.
