We put our customers’ needs at the heart of our business, and corporate social responsibility is no exception. Over the years of working closely with our customers and our business partners, we’ve identified a number of ways in which we can help you meet some of your objectives. Here are a few examples:

Sourcing environmentally responsible energy sources

Here at Opus Energy we are always looking for ways to source better, cleaner and more efficient energy.

We know that as a company we have a responsibility to the environment and so we turn to more naturally-powered energy generators – such as turbines, solar panels, hydro energy and energy from anaerobic digestion.

Supporting self-generation

We buy excess energy from independent renewable and solar generator owners. These include over 1300 sites like zoos, restaurants and farms, who sell us any spare power they have. This is the power that is then passed onto our customers.

In many cases this means that our customers can become environmentally friendly businesses by producing their own power, whilst benefiting from extra revenue through any sold surplus.

All sites interested in becoming an Opus Energy supplier are supported every step of the way, right from the initial start-up all the way through to jargon-free advice from our in-house experts. We encourage our customers to make the most of their natural resources.

Recognising excellence

Excellence is something we strive for in all aspects of our business, and thanks to our team’s continuous efforts this has been recognized on many occasions over the years.

Most recently we have been ranked first for Customer Service for Small and Medium-sized Businesses by independent research organisation, Datamonitor, as well as receiving a ‘Putting the Customer First’ accreditation with Customer First UK Ltd. As well as delivering first class customer service, we have also ranked in the Real Business Hot 100 and placed 39th in The Sunday Times Top Track 250.

While we’re very proud of our achievements, we know that the only way to stay at the top is to remain innovative; pushing ourselves to make sure that our customers’ expectations are always exceeded.
