Dan Keatings in 2015: A year to remember

We’ve seen champion gymnast Dan Keatings achieve some spectacular things throughout 2015, with a progress that shows he’s not afraid of overcoming an obstacle or two.
To commemorate an amazing year, we’ve found some of his 2015 highlights (as seen on social media!) and rounded them up below. Scroll down to see what he achieved (and try not to be too jealous…)

While Dan was eager to train in the first month of the year, construction workers at his gym had other ideas…

If you’re not sure why Dan’s all in yellow, read up about Seth – a young boy with Severe Combined Immune Deficiency – by clicking here. In March 2015, people all over social media banded together to raise awareness of Seth’s battle #wearyellowforSeth

Gymnasts do their thing 24/7 – as Dan proved at the Camp Nou football stadium in Barcelona.

One of the perks of training in Portugal is getting to take advantage of some sun-tastic weather. After all, all those workouts require some R&R.

At the World Gymnastic Championships 2015, where the GB men’s gymnastics team qualified for the much-anticipated 2016 Olympics in Rio.

Dan put on quite a show at the London Gymnastics Night of Stars; a spectacular night where top gymnasts perform under theatrical conditions for their fans.

(We couldn’t miss out this cheeky throwback of all Dan’s successes. That’s right – three world medals.)

Finally, putting in an appearance at the glitzy and prestigious BBC Sports Personality of the Year Awards 2015

It’s not easy to recognise Keatings outside of his gym wear, but all can agree he brushed up well for a glamorous end to the year!

Ready for #spoty
